March 15, Fineko/abc.az. If the violations specified in the decision to terminate construction work are not eliminated within one year, then the object on which construction work has been completed or not completed, or part of this object will be demolished.
ABC.AZ reports that this was reflected in the proposed amendments to the Urban Planning & Construction Code, discussed today at a joint meeting of the Milli Majlis Committees on Legal Policy & State Construction and on Economic Policy, Industry & Entrepreneurship. Currently, this period is 2 years.
Under the valid legislation, in case of non-receipt of a construction permit within 1 year from the date of the decision to terminate construction work, the object whose construction is completed or not completed, or part of this object is demolished. According to the project, it is proposed to reduce this period to 6 months.
