March 7, Fineko/abc.az. Closed borders restrict the right to free movement. We have seen the speeches of parents of students who died in the earthquake in Turkiye.

ABC.AZ reports that MP Fazil Mustafa stated about this during the discussion of the annual report of Azerbaijan’s Commissioner for Human Rights (Ombudsman) at today's Milli Majlis meeting.

Stressing that domestic airline AZAL sets ticket prices as it pleases, the MP added that “conditions should be created at least for students to cross land borders, and thus they can come to the country at more reasonable prices”:

“The situation is depressing. How can the Ombudsman help to resolve this situation? It is necessary to achieve a solution to this issue at the state level.”
