Ford's sales increased by 22%

March 3, Fineko/abc.az. In February, sales of automaker Ford amounted to 157,606 vehicles (22% more than a year earlier and 7.7% more against January).

ABC.AZ reports with reference to Ford that February’s sales of Ford F-series pickups grew by 22% last month compared to last year, reaching 55,000 cars, including 1,336 vehicles of electric models F-150 Lightning. Since the beginning of the year, sales of F-series pickups have increased by 15%.

Sales of Ford electric vehicles continue to grow, increasing by 88% compared to last year. However, electric vehicle sales still account for only 2.9% of the company's total vehicle sales in February.

The company sold 3,600 electric F-150 Lightning cars last month. However, sales decreased by 41% compared to January, as the company stopped production and shipment of cars in February because of battery problems.
