February 27, Fineko/abc.az. The State Committee for Urban Planning and Architecture has reached an agreement with one of the companies on the start of demolition in settlement Alatava-1, ABC.AZ reports, referring to Yasamal district executive power’s head Elshad Hasanov.

He added that the Baku Mayor’s Office allotted a land plot to this company, and demolition work will begin there in the near future.

"Currently, the State Committee is engaged in paperwork. After completion of this process, negotiations with residents will begin," he said.

Hasanov noted that new buildings will be constructed on the territory to be demolished.
