February 24, Fineko/abc.az. Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan have signed an intergovernmental agreement on the establishment of a $500 million joint investment fund.

ABC.AZ reports that this agreement was signed within the 1st Uzbek-Azerbaijani interregional forum held in Tashkent, the capital of Uzbekistan.

The creation of the fund will allow the countries to strengthen trade and economic relations, increase foreign trade turnover, as well as strengthen cooperation in the industrial sector.
