February 14, Fineko/abc.az. In January 2023, industrial enterprises and private entrepreneurs produced output for AZN 6.5 bn in Azerbaijan (4.3% less versus January 2022).

ABC.AZ was informed at the State Statistics Committee that over the past year the production in the oil & gas sector of the industry declined by 4.9%, while in the non-oil and gas sector grew by 2%.

74.1% of industrial products are manufactured in the mining sector, 20.5% in the processing sector, 4.9% in the production, distribution and supply of electricity, gas and steam, 0.5% in water supply, waste treatment and recycling.
In the manufacturing sector, production of leather and leather goods, footwear increased 2.9-fold, wood processing and production of wood products 2.9-fold, production of machinery and equipment by 80.3%, production of printing output by 75.6%, production of paper and cardboard by 44.9%, production of computer, electronic and optical products by 44.6%, electrical equipment production by 30.9%, clothing production by 25.4%, beverage production by 24.1%, construction materials by 20.7%, textile products by 17.5%, cars, trailers and semi-trailers by 7.9%.
