Last month’s oil production in Azerbaijan reached 2.7 million tons

February 13, Fineko/abc.az. To date, 204.6 bn cu m of gas have been produced from Azeri-Chirag-Guneshli and about 185 bn cu m from Shah Deniz.

ABC.AZ reports with reference to the Ministry of Energy that about 130 bn cu m of gas produced at Shah Deniz field were exported during this period.

In January 2023, the country extracted 2.7 million tons of oil (together with condensate).

1.6 million tons of Azerbaijan’s oil production account for Azeri-Chirag-Guneshli, while 400,000 tons (condensate) for Shah Deniz. SOCAR's oil production (together with condensate) amounted to 700,000 tons.

2.1 million tons of oil (together with condensate) were exported for January, and 2 million tons of them accounted for the consortium and 134,000 tons for by SOCAR.

In January 2023, oil refining in the country amounted to 559 million tons.
