February 10, Fineko/abc.az. The production of electric vehicles in Russia is planned to increase to 18,000 cars a year in 2023 and 36,000 cars in 2024.

ABC.AZ reports that Russian First Deputy Prime Minister Andrey Belousov told reporters following the strategic session on development of electric transport in Russia.

"In 2022, about 2,000 electric vehicles were produced in Russia. At that, there is a tendency to increase in production of electric vehicles. This year it is planned to increase the manufacture of electric cars by 9 times, that is, to about 18,000 vehicles a year, and in 2024 – 36,000 vehicles a year," Belousov stated.
