February 9, Fineko/abc.az. Another five SMEs have received startup certificates from the Agency for the Development of Small & Medium-sized Businesses (KOBIA).

ABC.AZ reports that thus, the number of business entities that have received startup certificates has reached 86.

Startup certificates are provided for online platforms of Allrent LLC for housing rental and Incode LLC for managing celebrations and weddings, online services and communication platform of AKIAB LLC for business, mobile applications of Legalaid LLC for legal consulting services, software of Automatikaaz LLC for large-scale scales.

A startup certificate is issued for production of a competitive product or service based on an innovative initiative produced for the purpose of generating income or profit. This document exempts an SME from paying profit tax and income tax on earnings received from innovation activities for the period of 3 years from the date of receipt of the certificate.
