January 5, Fineko/abc.az. Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev has signed a decree "On additional measures to improve the social welfare of the population".

ABC.AZ reports that according to the decree, starting from 1 January 2023 the minimum wage in Azerbaijan is 345 manats.

The minimum wage in the country has so far been 300 manats. Thus, the minimum wage in the country is increased by 15%.

In addition, the Cabinet Ministers was instructed to submit proposals to the President of Azerbaijan within 10 days on raising the minimum size of the labor pension to 280 manats, as well as on increasing the amount of social benefits and scholarships.
