December 16, Fineko/abc.az. "There are 20,000-30,000 new foreign cars left in the warehouses of Russian car dealerships. If we take into account the volume of current sales, these stocks will last for a maximum of a month of trading," ABC.AZ reports, referring to association "Russian Automobile Dealers".

Dealers have almost no cars left in the warehouses of the average price category of brands familiar to Russians, such as Kia, Hyundai, Toyota, Renault, Volkswagen. There were mostly expensive Chinese cars left.

According to the association, almost 1.7 million cars were sold in 2021, and dealers are expected to sell about 650,000 cars.

"And it turns out that the deficit is 1.1 million cars. It is unlikely that it will be covered next year," the association noted.
