December 12, Fineko/abc.az. The Baku Master Plan is a document that applies the zoning of the city, as well as the corresponding restrictions. Along with this, the document will present relevant proposals on many urban planning approaches. 

ABC.AZ reports that Anar Guliyev, the chairman of the State Committee for Urban Planning & Architecture, made the relevant statement to journalists. He made a proposal in connection with the ongoing construction boom in Baku.

"Historicity must be preserved in buildings located in historical centers. The principles of urban planning that have developed historically should not be violated. New works to be carried out in these territories should be carried out in accord with these principles. They should be preserved both during restoration work and during the construction of new buildings," Guliyev emphasized.
