Next year, Turkiye may receive $46 bn in revenue from tourism sector – Forecast

December 09, Fineko/abc.az. Turkiye revised its forecast for the reception of foreign tourists this year, increasing it from 50 million to 51.5 million people. 

ABC.AZ reports that Culture & Tourism Minister Mehmet Nuri Ersoy made the relevant statement during his speech in parliament.

"We’ve revised our goals for the end of 2022 – 51.5 million tourists and $46 billion in tourism revenue," the minister said.

According to Ersoy, next year Turkey expects 60 million tourists from abroad and an income of $56 bn.
