November 16, Fineko/abc.az. According to the operational data on electric energy, in October 2022, electricity production in Azerbaijan amounted to 2.238 bn kWh (a rise of 68.7 million kWh, or 3.2% against October 2021).

ABC.AZ was informed at the Ministry of Energy that electricity imports last month totaled 10.8 million kWh (400,000 kWh more versus the same period of 2021) and exports increased by 169.9 million kWh (against the 2021 same term) up to 295.4 million kWh.

In general, for the past 10 months country’s electricity generation grew by 876.4 million kWh (3.8%), reaching 23.748 bn kWh versus the 2021 same term.
