November 11, Fineko/abc.az. In August 2022, the Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA) approved a mechanism for providing a governmental guarantee to corporate bonds.

ABC.AZ reports that Samir Ismailov, deputy director of the Department of Policy & Control over CBA Capital Market Activity, informed about this.

"The loan guarantee will also be applied to corporate bonds. For this purpose, rules are being developed and be approved by the end of next January," he emphasized.

Out of the transactions in the amount of AZN 9.4 bn on the securities market of Azerbaijan for Jan-Sept 2022, AZN 1.04 bn or 11.1% accounted for corporate securities. This is 3.5% less than 1 year ago. Of the 6,596 transactions concluded on this market for Jan-Sept, 3,325, or 50.4%, accounted for corporate securities. This is 15.8% less than a year ago.
