October 25, Fineko/abc.az. SOCAR's export performance in the 3rd quarter of this year is also satisfactory.

The volume of oil exported by the company increased by 7.4% up to 4.8 million tons, ABC.AZ reports with reference to SOCAR.

In addition to the oil produced by its own capabilities, SOCAR, within the international consortia, exported volumes of oil that accounted for SOCAR and Azerbaijan.

Domestically it was consumed 2.5 bn cu m of gas (2.5% more against the same term of 2021). The increase in the level of gasification throughout the country has led to an increase in gas consumption.

During the quarter, about 591,000 tons of oil, petrochemical and gas chemical products produced at SOCAR enterprises in Azerbaijan were exported to foreign markets.
