October 13, Fineko/abc.az. French President Emmanuel Macron, who has special sympathy for Armenians, made unfounded accusations against Azerbaijan speaking about the Armenian-Azerbaijani conflict in an interview for the local television.

ABC.AZ reports that speaking about Armenia, Macron noted in the interview that France has special relationship with this country, justifying this by the fact that Armenia has always fought for peace and tolerance in the region.

"Neither oil nor gas can buy our values," Macron said proudly.

Not hiding his contempt for Azerbaijan and Turkey, Macron noted in an interview that "the disputed territory was on the internationally unrecognized territory called Nagorno-Karabakh of Armenia, on the disputed territory located in the middle of Azerbaijan. Azerbaijan started the war, which led to numerous losses, and occupied this territory," Macron says.
