September 16, Fineko/abc.az. The Azerbaijani government plans to provide a range of tax benefits for businesses and the population from 2023.

The Finance Ministry informs that the exemption from VAT on imports of hybrid cars with capacity of no more than 2,500 cu cm for another year is planned.

From 1 January 2022, the import and sale of hybrid cars in Azerbaijan are exempt from VAT for 3 years.
