September 2, Fineko/abc.az. Cars will become more expensive in Azerbaijan in September or October, ABC.AZ reports, quoting automotive market expert Eldaniz Jafarov.

He added that in August the automotive market was stagnant compared with July. Despite the fact that sales fell by about 10-15%, prices have remained unchanged.

According to the expert, since the spring of this year interest to crossovers and mini crossovers has increased in the new car market.

And in the used car market, interest to hybrid and diesel cars has increased, which is associated with an increase in prices for AI-95 gasoline.

"Along with the Prius, citizens prefer old hybrid and diesel cars with  volume of 1.5 liters imported from the U.S.," the expert said.
