June 10, Fineko/abc.az. For the past 5 months Azerbaijan extracted 19.6 bn cu m of natural gas, ABC.AZ was informed at the Ministry of Energy.

5.8 bn cu m of gas was produced on ACG, 10.6 bn cu m on Shah Deniz, 3.2 bn cu m on SOCAR. Compared with the 2021 same term, gas production grew by 15.3%, that is, by 2.6 bn cu m.

Gas sales abroad reached 9.4 bn cu m (27.0% more versus Jan-May 2021).

Over Jan-May 2022, 3.6 bn cu m of gas were sold to Turkey, 4.5 bn cu m to Europe, and 1.3 bn cu m to Georgia. During this period 45 million cu m of gas were supplied to the BTC pipeline system.

During this period TANAP transported about 2.4 bn cu m of gas to Turkey.
