June 9, Fineko/abc.az. "State Budget 2022 has been drawn up, and the projected oil price is set at $50 per barrel. Currently, the oil price has exceeded $128. This situation is very important for our economy."

ABC.AZ reports, quoting Aydin Huseynov, a member of the Parliamentary Committee on Economic Policy, Industry & Entrepreneurship, as saying this on a local TV channel.

He added that if finances go to the budget in excess of the forecast, then the expenditure part of the budget is increased:

"If our incomes are growing, then first of all they are directed to social spending. There is a vulnerable social sphere in Azerbaijan. This includes war veterans, pensioners, etc. In general, social spending refers to wages, health care costs and others."
