June 2, Fineko/abc.az. "Taking into consideration sanctions imposed on Russia as a result of the war in Ukraine, Russia's oil production has decreased by 1 million b/d," ABC.AZ reports, quoting International Energy Forum’s secretary-general Joseph McMonigle as saying this at today’s Baku Energy Forum.
The secretary-general has noted that according to the analysis, EU’s latest sanctions and other sanctions show their impacts now.
"Russian export in various sectors is declining every day. This is also evident at the global level. It is unknown whether this 1 million barrels will recover in the near future or not. Over time, this may reach 3-4 million barrels," he emphasized.
