LUKOIL shareholders approve new president of company

May 31, Fineko/abc.az. Vagit Alekperov, the founder of Russia's largest private oil company LUKOIL, has left the post of president of the company after 30 years of work.

ABC.AZ reports that the extraordinary meeting of LUKOIL shareholders approved the decision on the early termination of Vagit Alekperov's powers.

The shareholders approved Vadim Vorobyov, acting as the new president, who held the position of the first executive vice president of LUKOIL.
