May 5, Fineko/abc.az. In the 1st quarter of 2022, the shipment of oil and gas from the Azeri-Chirag-Guneshli (ACG) and Shah Deniz fields continued via subsea pipelines to the Sangachal Terminal.
ABC.AZ informs with reference to the BP report that approximately 57 million barrels of oil and condensate were exported from the terminal during the quarter, including 51 million barrels via the Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan (BTC) pipeline and about 6 million barrels via the Baku-Supsa pipeline."
Gas is mainly exported from the terminal via the South Caucasus Pipeline Mainline as part of Stage-1, through the expanded SCP system as part of Stage-2 of the Shah Deniz project and through the SOCAR gas pipeline, which connects the terminal's gas processing plants with the Azerigaz gas distribution system.
"Over Jan-Mar 2022, an average of about 71 million cu m per day of gas from the Shah Deniz field was exported through the terminal (an increase of 26.8%)," the company said.
