Oil gets cheaper, and Brent is at $103.87 a barrel

April 28, Fineko/abc.az. Prices for oil of benchmark grades are declining in Thursday’s trading.

By 09:10 am, at the London ICE Futures Exchange the June’s Brent crude futures fell by $1.45 (1.38%) to $103.87 per barrel. Following the trading on 27 April, the price of June’s Brent crude futures rose by $0.33 (0.32%) to $105.32 per barrel.

By 09:10 am, at the New York Mercantile Exchange (NYMEX) the June’s WTI oil futures fell in price by $1.37 (1.34%) to $100.65 per barrel. Following the trading on 27 April, the price of WTI oil futures for June increased by $0.32 (0.32%) to $102.02 per barrel.

According to the U.S. Department of Energy, commercial oil reserves in the country increased by 691,000 barrels last week. Meanwhile, gasoline reserves in the U.S. decreased by 1.57 million barrels and distillates by 1.45 million barrels.
