April 27, Fineko/abc.az. The new head of the Center for Intelligent Transport Management (NIIM), subordinate to the Ministry of Internal Affairs, has been appointed.

ABC.AZ reports that by order of Internal Affairs Minister Vilayat Eyvazov, police Lt.-Col Namidan Piriyev was appointed to this position.

Prior to this appointment, Piriyev worked as deputy head of the Main Department of the State Traffic Police.

NIIM was transferred to the subordination of the Ministry of Internal Affairs on 7 February 2022.
