September 3, Fineko/abc.az. Tech giant Apple is facing a £2 billion ($2.7 billion) mass lawsuit in London, brought on behalf of app developers who accuse the iPhone maker of anti-competitive practices.
The legal action alleges that Apple abused its market dominance by enforcing unfair app-tracking rules that disproportionately restrict third-party developers while favoring its own services.
According to the claimants, these restrictive privacy controls have severely hindered independent developers' ability to monetize their apps and generated substantial financial losses across the UK app economy.
