April 25, Fineko/abc.az. Because of sanctions against Russia, the UK economy will lose 6.2 bn pounds (about $8 bn at the current exchange rate).

Companies exporting luxury goods to Russia will suffer the most damage, ABC.AZ reports with reference to the foreign media.

Thus, sanctions against the supply of expensive goods to Russia will prevent the export of Bentley and Aston Martin cars and Burberry bags to Russia.

These companies will lose 881.7 million pounds by 2030 due to sanctions. The computer industry will also suffer - about 4.1 million pounds. Companies exporting products and refining technologies may lose 6.7 million pounds because of restrictions.

Last year, the total value of exports of goods to Russia from the UK, which is currently under embargo, amounted to 775.9 million pounds (about 27.9% of all exports from the UK to Russia), the British government says.
