April 21, Fineko/abc.az. The Azerbaijani state has sent today another aid consisting of medicines, medical supplies and food for humanitarian assistance to the Ukrainian people.

ABC.AZ informs with reference to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs that the total weight of aid exceeds 170 tons in the amount of AZN 3.37 million, includes medicines, supplies for urgent and emergency medical care and foods.

The first plane to deliver humanitarian cargo to the Warsaw Airport took off from Heydar Aliyev International Airport at 14:30 on 21 April in the presence of the Ukrainian ambassador to Azerbaijan.

Thus, the total amount of humanitarian aid provided by Azerbaijan in connection with the crisis in Ukraine is AZN 27.6 million (about 15 million euro), and the weight is 720 tons.
