April 14, Fineko/abc.az. In 2022, Azerbaijani company Agrarco plans to increase the export of peeled hazelnuts by 10-15%, or almost 6,000 tons, ABC.AZ reports, citing Agrarco’s CEO Javid Kazimov.

Kazimov says that last season the company exported about 5,500 tons of hazelnuts.

"The products are mainly supplied to the Italian market. Last year, slightly more than 3,000 tons of products were exported to this country. Nuts are also supplied to Germany, Austria and France," Kazimov said.

Referring to the existing problems in this area, the CEO noted that they are mainly related to the pandemic and military operations in the region.
