April 12, Fineko/abc.az. The Law on Food Safety has been discussed at Milli Majlis.

ABC.AZ reports that AGTA’s chairman Gosha Tahmazli announced that in the field of food safety, control will be carried out in all areas of the food chain.

He stressed that the issue of tracking dangerous products is also reflected in this law: "After the adoption of the law, the primary source of dangerous products will be identified in accord with the relevant rules."

AGTA’s chair noted that in compliance with the new law, a register of dangerous products will be created.

"This register will also be open to citizens. Any citizen, having entered the register, will be able to get acquainted with the list of dangerous products," he said.

Tahmazli added that with the adoption of the Law on Food Safety, the agency is not granted any new powers.
