April 11, Fineko/abc.az. "By the presidential decree from December 2021 persons who were assigned a disability due to injury in connection with the protection of the territorial integrity of the country until 2 August 1997, as well as family members of the victims will receive lump-sum payments in the near future," ABC.AZ reports, citing Deputy Minister of Labor & Social Protection Anar Aliyev.
He also noted that on behalf of President Ilham Aliyev, the participants of the 44-day Patriotic War are covered by the social support program.
Aliyev points out that based on the President’s instructions, over the past 4 years the minimum wage has been increased by 2.3 times and the minimum amount of pensions by 2.2 times. Over the past 4 years there has been an increase in benefits and scholarships by an average of more than 2.5-3 times.
