April 5, Fineko/abc.az. Strawberry sellers in Baku offer 1 kg of berries for 2 manats. But, despite this, buyers pass by. What is the reason for such a low price of strawberries in April?

ABC.AZ reports that agricultural products expert Vahid Maharramov explained this by the large number of strawberry producers in the country:

"Producers think that large volumes of strawberries will be introduced to the market. In fact, 2 manats is a normal price. And it also depends on who raised and under what conditions strawberries are grown, the cost price and how much the product costs the producer. In accordance with this, the price is set. In fact, the price of a product is defined by the market. The set price does not mean that the products will be sold out. Strawberries spoil quickly. Now the purchasing power is also low. People prefer mainly potatoes, onions and milk. Smart entrepreneurs try to sell goods quickly. Now the production of strawberries does not cause such difficulties as before."
