March 31, Fineko/abc.az. Turkey imported 796.3 million cu m of gas from Azerbaijan in January 2022 (29% less than in January 2021).

ABC.AZ reports that according to the Turkish Energy Market Regulatory Authority (EPDK), Turkey imported 1.119 bn cu m of gas from Azerbaijan in January 2021.

For the reporting month Azerbaijan ranked 3rd position in the total gas imports of Turkey after Russia and the U.S. (liquefied natural gas).

Last year, Turkey imported 8.82 bn cu m of gas from Azerbaijan (24% less than in 2020).
