March 31, Fineko/abc.az. From 1 April of this year Russia will introduce quotas for the export of sunflower seeds and rapeseed.

ABC.AZ reports with reference to the Russian Ministry of Agriculture that this decision was supported by the Subcommittee on Customs & Tariff Regulation.

"The Subcommittee backed the restriction of exports of oilseeds and products from them. To protect the domestic market and meet the demand for processing enterprises, the Ministry of Agriculture proposed a range of measures," the Ministry informs.
