March 30, Fineko/abc.az. Citizens who dig wells in courtyards and receive water using special technical devices for the purpose of using drinking water will have to pay for it. In addition, those who use water from rivers, lakes and reservoirs will also have to pay.

ABC.AZ reports that this is reflected in the Rules for the paid use of water in Azerbaijan approved by the Cabinet Ministers.

The Rules envisage payments related to the water use of both natural resources and water management facilities.

According to the Rules, in connection with the use of rivers, lakes, reservoirs, natural water resources, citizens will first contact the ministry, and their registration will be carried out.

Then individuals and legal entities using these water sources will have to pay a certain amount.
