March 15, Fineko/abc.az. The money remittances in the amount of $9.2 million were made from Azerbaijan to Georgia and for $2.9 million from Georgia to Azerbaijan over Jan-Feb 2022.

ABC.AZ informs with reference to Georgian bureau Report that this data is brought by the National Bank of Georgia.

Compared to 2021, the figures are respectively 18.5% less and 21% more.

In February 2022, the money transfers for $4.8 million were made from Azerbaijan to Georgia (a rise of 20% versus 2021) and for $1.5 million from Georgia to Azerbaijan (decrease of 15.3%).
