7 Russian banks to be disconnected from SWIFT – Agreement reached

March 2, Fineko/abc.az. As part of the sanctions against Russia, the EU Permanent Representatives Committee approved the list of seven Russian banks to be withdrawn from the SWIFT global payment system.

ABC.AZ reports that the EU ambassadors agreed to disconnect banks VTB, Rossiya and Otkritie, as well as Novikombank, Promsvyazbank, Sovcombank and VEB.RF from the SWIFT system.
