ABC.AZ reports that the director of the Central Branch of the State Fund for the Survey of Material & Living Conditions, Nijat Ismailov, said at the "Social Hour" that if a citizen has a registered shared land ownership, then he is considered the owner of the land and he does not need to work: "At the same time, he can apply for targeted social assistance. If a citizen does not use shared land, he must register it. In addition, if he has sold, he must officially conclude a contract of sale or, if he refuses, he must document it. After that, he will not need to declare this shared land when applying for targeted social assistance.”
