March 1, Fineko/abc.az. The construction of about 500 private houses for families of martyrs and war invalids is coming to an end in 41 cities and districts of Azerbaijan. The houses will be put into operation in the coming days.

ABC.AZ reports that this was informed by Labor & Social Protection Minister Sahil Babayev.

He said that in 2021, 5 times more apartments were allotted to citizens from the preferential category than three years ago, about 3,000 apartments, this year work in this direction continued: "So far, more than 12,300 apartments and private houses have been allotted to these citizens."

He noted that 2022 began with a serious increase in wages, pensions and other social benefits, covering 3.4 million people, as another package of reforms, for which an additional AZN 2.1 bn will be spent on an annual basis.
