Oil rises in price, and Brent is at $98.96 a barrel

March 1, Fineko/abc.az. Prices for benchmark oil are increasing in Tuesday's trading.

By 9:07 a.m., at the London ICE Futures Exchange the May’s Brent crude futures rose by $0.99 (1.01%) up to $98.96 per barrel. Following the trading on 28 February, the price of Brent crude futures for May increased by $3.85 (4.12%) up to $97.97 per barrel.

By 9:07 am, at the New York Mercantile Exchange (NYMEX) the WTI oil futures for April soared in price by $0.91 (0.95%) up to $96.63 per barrel. Following the trading on 28 February, the price of April’s WTI oil futures rose by $4.13 (4.51%) up to $95.72 per barrel.
