February 28, Fineko/abc.az. Norwegian energy company Equinox has announced the start of the process of its withdrawal from joint ventures in Russia and stopping its new investments in the country, ABC.AZ reports with reference to the company.

Equinor has been operating in Russia for more than 30 years and has had a cooperation agreement with Russian oil company Rosneft since 2012.

Norway stated that its company, which operates in accordance with EU and US sanctions against Russia, will begin to withdraw from its joint ventures in Russia and suspend new investments in the country.
