February 23, Fineko/abc.az. The number of payment cards in Azerbaijan grew by 233,537 cards up to 11.27 million cards.

ABC.AZ reports with reference to the Central Bank that the number of social cards in January decreased by 5,383 to 3.46 million cards and salary cards by 9,807 to 2.58 million cards.

In January, the number of debit cards increased by 229,167 cards up to 3.813 million, and credit cards by 19,560 cards up to 1.414 million.

At the end of 2021, the total number of payment cards reached 11.4 million.
