ABC.AZ reports that expert economist Natig Jafarli stated about this, when clarifying how the law regulates the transfer of pension savings of the deceased to his heir.

According to the expert, the only way to obtain the right of inheritance at this stage is through the courts:

"There have been several such cases in Azerbaijan when the right of inheritance was restored by court decisions, and the funds in this accumulative fund were paid to the heirs. This suggests that there are no prohibitions in relation to this in the law. Unfortunately, there is no mechanism either. As far as I know, there are dozens of such controversial cases in the courts.”
