February 21, Fineko/abc.az. Energy Minister Parviz Shahbazov held a number of meetings in Doha as part of the events of the Gas Exporting Countries Forum (GECF).
ABC.AZ reports that the minister met with Khalid Mohammed Jolot, CEO of Nebras Power.
The sides discussed the issues of cooperation on projects for the construction of gas turbine installations with capacity of up to 550 MW, as well as wind power plants with capacity of up to 100 MW in the Lachin and Kelbajar districts.
The parties also exchanged views about renewable energy projects in the liberated territories and plans for the implementation of wind energy potential in the Azerbaijani sector of the Caspian Sea.
It was noted that joint plans with Nebras Power create opportunities for developing energy cooperation with Qatar and raising investments in the energy sector.
