February 17, Fineko/abc.az. Azerbaijan imported 5,685 motor vehicles of various purposes for $68.2 million in January 2022.

According to the State Customs Committee, compared with January 2021, the number of imported vehicles grew by 22.5% and their amount by 27.7%.

This year’s import of vehicles intended for the transportation of 10 or more people increased by 77.4% up to 55 ones (for $6.7 million). Imports of passenger cars and other vehicles, mainly intended for the transportation of people, increased by 23.4% up to 5,231 ones (for $48.997 million).
