Oil gets cheaper, and Brent is at $93.79 a barrel

February 17, Fineko/abc.az. Prices for oil of standard grades are declining in Thursday’s trading.

By 9:19 am, at the London ICE Futures Exchange the April’s Brent crude futures fell by $1.02 (1.08%) to $93.79 per barrel. Following the trading on 16 February, the price of Brent crude futures for April increased by $1.53 (1.64%) up to $94.81 per barrel.

By 9:19 am, at the New York Mercantile Exchange (NYMEX) the WTI oil futures for March fell in price by $1.17 (1.25%) to $92.49 per barrel. Following the trading on 16 February, the price of March’s WTI oil futures grew by $1.59 (1.73%) up to $93.66 per barrel.

According to the U.S. Department of Energy, country’s oil reserves increased by 1.12 million barrels for the week finished on 11 February. Analysts on average expected a reduction in inventories by 2.17 million barrels.
