February 16, Fineko/abc.az. Baku Metro will release 20 new cars on the line in mid-2022.

According to Baku Metro, the number of new trains on the line will reach 23.

"Currently, up to 46 trains run on the Baku metro line every day. This means that from the middle of the year, half of the trains on the metro lines of the capital will be new," the Baku Metro said in a statement.

The new trains were ordered by Russian company Metrovagonmash and their production began.
