February 16, Fineko/abc.az. Pensions of persons who continue to work after the appointment of old-age pensions have been increased, ABC.AZ was informed at the Ministry of Labor & Social Protection.
In 2021, the State Social Protection Fund under the MLSP recalculated and increased the pensions of 1,307 people who have worked for at least 6 years after they were assigned old-age pensions.
"In accordance with the Law on Labor Pensions, if a person continues to work after an old-age pension is assigned to him, then every 6 years (72 months) his pension increases by an amount equal to the result of dividing by 72 social insurance contributions.
It also serves more to ensure the interests of working pensioners, to stimulate interest in participating in the social insurance system of persons who continue to work after retirement," the SSPF said.
