February 9, Fineko/abc.az. One of the world's largest tourism exhibitions EMITT 2022 - the International Exhibition of Travel & Tourism of the Eastern Mediterranean - has started in Istanbul.

ABC.AZ reports that Azerbaijan is represented at the stand by 5 local travel companies, 1 hotel group and Azerbaijan Airlines CJSC.

Meetings with leading Turkish travel companies, government agencies and organizations are planned within the framework of the exhibition to last until 12 February. Such issues as mutual cooperation, promotion of tourism potential will be discussed at the meetings, as well as local tourist products, opportunities for ecotourism, camping, wine, gastronomic and winter tourism will be presented.

The exhibition will also promote the tourism potential of the occupation-liberated territories of Azerbaijan, the Zangezur corridor and the possibilities of this corridor.
